Ein Stück "Festland" im Solnhofener Plattenkalk Von GÜNTER SCHWEIGERT Mit 2 Abbildungen Abstract From the Solnhofen Lithographic Limestone Formation (Hybonotum Zone, Rueppellianum Subzone) an exotic lithoclast is described which exhibits pebbles from the coast of the Jurassic sea. Most probably the lithoclast was transported within the roots of a tree from the coast of the emerging Bohemian Island in the East. The pebbles are indicative of the rocks cropping out at the coast and in the hinterland. Zusammenfassung Aus dem Solnhofener Plattenkalk (Hybonotum-Zone, Rueppellianum-Subzone) wird der Fund einer geröllführenden Geode beschrieben. Sie wurde vermutlich im Wurzelwerk eines Baumes von der Küste der auftauchenden Böhmischen Insel im Osten eingedriftet und gibt damit Hinweise auf die zur Unter-Tithonium-Zeit an der Küste und im Hinterland anstehenden Gesteine.
